Maintenance Schedule

Oil services and scheduled inspections are important to maintaining your MINIs top level of quality.

Our recommendations for these services:

• R-Series Oil Service 8,000km (or 1 year)

• F-Series Oil Service 10,000km (or 1 year)

• Inspection 1 every 50,000km (or 2 Years)

• Inspection 2 every 100,000km (or 4 Years)

• Flush & Replace brake fluid every 2 years

• Flush & Replace Engine Coolant every 4 years

Note: The latest production vehicles have incorporated Condition Based Service (CBS) into their on-board computers. This system simplifies your maintenance schedule so you can easily monitor when other individual services are due.

Inspection Details

  • Oil Service

    Replacement Items:

    • Engine oil and oil filter Change

    Inspections and Tests:

    • Brakes

    • Parking Brake

    • Fluid levels

    • Tire Condition and Air Pressure

    • Coolant hoses

    • Engine drive belt

    Actions:

    • Reset the oil change indicator

  • Inspection 1

    Includes everything from Oil Service, plus the following.

    Replacement Items:

    • Cabin Filter

    • Change Transmission fluid (CVT transmission only)

    • Top up Windshield Washer fluid

    • Top up brake fluid

    • Top up clutch fluid

    • Lubricate doors and locks

    • Spark Plugs (JCW Only)

    Inspections and Tests:

    • Seat belts

    • Horn

    • Vehicle lights

    • Steering rack

    • Battery condition

    • Suspension components

    • Windshield wipers and washer jets

    • Heater, AC, and blower

    • CV boots

    • Exhaust System

    • Manual Transmission fluid level

    • Pressure Test Cooling System

    • Check body and frame for corrosion

    • Road test for overall vehicle performance

    Actions:

    • Reset Service Indicator

  • Inspection 2

    Includes everything from Inspection 1, plus the following.

    Replacement Items:

    • Replace engine air filter

    • Spark plugs

    • Serpentine belt
